The pandemic has thrown its shadow upon the music and entertainment scene:
Instead of rocking stages, musicians are left deep in darkness, forced to be patient and wait. Waiting for brighter days to come.
Yet there are some artists such as the exceptional singer Anna Brunner, who doesn't stand still petrified, waiting until the virus ends in smoke. On the contrary, she starts a fire!
Already in 2017 she celebrated remarkable international success with her symphonic metal band Exit Eden.
Now she is using the stagnation of 2020 for an entirely new vision. A band processing the uncertainty of this period and the bleak prospects to create tremendously powerful songs -
songs that encapsulate this dark and brute reality in a slick and appealing way, sending a cold shiver down the listeners ́ spine.
The elemental force of her distorted and powerful voice merged with the chunky riffs played by Jim Müller, the steady and strong beats delivered by Tino Calmbach and the edgy bass by Felix Rehmann unifies them to a strong league giving birth to a firework of sound that you should not miss.
And so it is that the pandemic can also be an igniter for something marvelous to come:
The frustration is being turned into a Big Bang to create a brand new reality.
He who does not fight has already lost. Or to quote “LEAGUE OF DISTORTION” as saying,
“Are you a wolf, are you a lamb? Do you surrender or withstand?”
